Lloyd Banks “Ain’t Nobody Checking For Banks Anymore”

Lloyd Banks revealed sometimes last year that he isn’t retiring anytime soon. The rapper made it very clear on Twitter Friday night (March 16, 2018)  that he’s not retiring from rap by using a video clip of retired wrestler Ric Flair to speak for him.
“I have to announce to you that I will never retire,” Flair yells in the video.

Lloyd banks also included a tweet bashing the music industry for reporting on a retirement that never was.

“Just goes to show you what a mess the industry has become..they’ll rather cover everything that happens around the music..than the actual music itself..I hope all these outlets support me when I drop..have a good day,” he tweeted.
But it appears he has lost it, his recent response to fans shows he’s not feeling himself anyone and seems to have lost confidence.

The former G-Unit wordsmith is considered one of the best rappers of all time and he’s still musically active, albeit he drops very rarely nowadays. Fans of the star have been hoping for some new music from the veteran emcee but in return, Banks keeps on teasing retirement.
For years, Lloyd Banks was one of the premier spitters in hip-hop but now, he doesn’t seem to see himself in that light.
When a fan hit him up asking where the new music was stashed away at, he responded, “Let’s be real..ain’t nobody checking for banks anymore.”

That same night, another fan asked if Banks has a copy of the deluxe version of his 2004 album The Hunger for More, to which the rapper replied, “nah I wish i had one smh.”

Banks’ Twitter is rife with more sad tweets, including one from Sept. 2 that reads “unwanted attention,” and another from August that says, “withdrawal.”
