It’s no longer news that The Real host Jeannie Mai and rapper Jeezy are dating after being friends for years and reportedly dating on and off.

Yesterday, fans dragged Jeezy for dating Jeannie Mia an Asian woman on social media and he’s yet to respond to the lashes.

Just in time, an old clip from the show has resurfaced where Jeannie says that she likes “dark meat on the side. White keeps me mean and lean.”

Her comments simply means she prefers using dark skinned guys as side dude while she’s with a white man.

The internet is unforgiving and it was only a matter of time before something like this happened, but her comments on race have not aged well.

“I loved Black guys! I did, I did. But for me, dark meat on the side. White keeps me mean and lean, you know? That’s why I married white. That’s what I like,” she said in the clip from 2014.

But according to Jeannie, that does not mean that she just uses Black men as side-pieces:

“What I’m saying is I really do think Black men are attractive!…when I think about men, I like dark men. I used to date Black men. I think they’re attractive.”

“But when I decided to stick to, because it just kept me happiest was my man Freddy, who just happens to be White,” she explained to co-host Tamar Braxton.
