Fan Body Shamed Ashanti Over Her Revealing Outfit To The New York Fashion Week

Ashanti has been trending since she appeared on the runway at New York Fashion Week – PrettyLittleThing x Saweetie fashion show.

Ashanti wore a very revealing outfit to the fashion show, exposing her dark inner thighs.

A Twitter user body shamed for not just her outfit choice, but her complexion as well. In the Tweet below, @vuhsechi questions Ashanti on her inner thighs and how they appear darker than the rest of her body.”Don’t come here projecting! im NOT body shaming, I’m referring to that dark spot and outfit choice,” the user said.

While this is simply Shanti’s natural look, the Twitter user seemed to take exception to it.

The tweet didn’t go down well with Ashanti’s fans as they were quick to jump in her defense saying it’s a natural stuff. Fans praised the singer for being comfortable enough in her own skin and showing off every single part of her body, even if it isn’t “perfect.””Ya know, Ashanti has a real body so that isn’t the issue. A lot of women struggle with dark inner thighs and don’t know what to do about it. Using Tumric, flour, Greek yogurt, & lemon on the inner thigh area & rinse it off with warm water; do it everyday until it clears up.” A fan said in her defense.
