Swae Lee Says Joe Budden Might Be A Little Slow

Swae Lee and popular podcast host Joe Budden have been at war, throwing jabs at each other over Swae Lee’s “Won’t Be Late” featuring Drake.

Joe Budden earlier criticized “Won’t Be Late” labelling it an unoriginal lazy song due to its similarities with Swae Lee’s “Unforgettable” ft French Montana.

Joe Budden said “I cannot believe these ni–as gave us an Afrobeat,” Budden said declared. “[…] If there’s two people that know that we don’t any anymore Afrobeats from them, it’s [Swae and Drake].”

“Now people think that I’m just the contrarian guy […] It’s not a good record. Are we in 2015? When did Drake’s fuckin’ Afrobeats record come out? […] This is pure laziness. This is laziness […] You’ve heard this song 90 times” He added.

Swae Lee fired back at Joe Budden calling him a ‘small minded’ person.

I don’t have to love every f*ckin’ Swae Lee song. Hey, the record could work. It could be a huge hit, huge success, and some n*ggas could still not like it. That’s OK. Swae responded to Joe Budden again, and this time urging Joe to listen to the track again as he “might be a little slow.”
