R Kelly’s Attorney Calls Alleged Victims “Angry Groupies”
“Groupies Fought Each Other For R Kelly’s Attention”
R Kelly has been battling court cases for a while now. The disgraced R&B singer will appear in Brooklyn federal court today.
His attorney has reportedly taken to villainizing his accusers in legal documents filed, calling them “disgruntled groupies.”

Most of his alleged victims are underage girls when they met him. Report has it that R Kelly abused them with one of them allegedly catching herpes from him.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, his attorneys are requesting that s federal judge release the singer before his upcoming trial.
They deny that he is a risk and state that “groupies sought out Robert’s attention, even fought each other for it, voluntarily contacted him, came to his shows, pined to be with him…”
Kelly’s lawyer Douglas Anton, claimed his accusers are “five disgruntled groupies, not all of which are alleged to be underage, who now show groupie remorse so many years later and only after a TV Show and an aggressive, vocal Cook County prosecutor makes a public cry for ‘victims come forth,’ tell your story and be famous.”
