The new besties have been making headlines lately mostly when the two were seen doing nasty things after getting drunk in a viral video.
Hot Girl Summer’ by Megan, Nicki Minaj and TY Dolla Sign is now the first female rap collaboration in history to hit #1 on iTunes USA.
Which makes it the first female collaboration of 2019 to achieve this and also Megan Thee Stallion’s first song to achieve this.
The production reportedly ran into problems with the Los Angeles Police Department. On Friday, the “Hot Girl Summer” production crew was attempting to film in Los Angeles’ elite Mount Olympus neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills.

However, things took a turn when the LAPD showed up to shut everything down because the crew didn’t have the necessary permits that allowed them to film in the affluent community.

TMZ shared that someone in the neighborhood called the police on Megan, Nicki, Ty Dolla $ign and Co., but production was able to find a last-minute fix. They secured a location in neighboring San Bernadino County in the city of Chino Hills about 45 miles east.
We’ll keep you posted once the release date for the video of the trending song is set as there is no reports on that for now.
