Jay Z’s controversial deal with the NFL keeps garnering lots of different perceptions from different people.

Jay Z would not only perform at the Super Bowl halftime show but is reportedly having his own team in the NFL.

Joe Budden was offered similar deal some years back but Jay Z allegedly advised him to turn down the offer only for him to grab the deal couple of weeks ago.

Many people have called out Jay Z over the deal. Criticism have come from the likes of Tomi Lahren, Kaep’s girlfriend Nessa, Eric Reid, and Kenny Stills.

Rihanna also liked a post calling the deal wrong and shady while Jay Z’s Roc Nation member J Cole has also shown support for Colin Kaepernick.

After we shared reasons why Jay Z’s partnership deal isn’t a bad idea, Cardi B also showed her support for Jay Z, believing he could help bring back Colin Kaepernick to the league. Freddie Gibbs also noted that he’s riding with Jay Z.

Rapper and political-pop culture commentator Killer Mike isn’t adding his name to that list. The Run the Jewels star sat down with Bill Maher to discuss a myriad of topics, and during their discourse, Mike gave his opinion on Hov’s business deal.

“Jay Z is one of us that made it out the streets, made it in the rooms, and he did what he could when he should,” Mike said. “When the Grammys did not show the hip hop portion, Jay Z boycotted.”

Mike added that Jay’s NFL deal “gives us a seat at the table…It doesn’t destroy what Kaep knelt for.” He also noted that he wouldn’t be surprised if Kaep would at least have an opportunity to try out for Jay’s team.
