Charlamagne Tha God asked series of questions during the interview. Jay Zanswered the questions alongside NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Charlamagne  wanted to know why he would sign a deal with the NFL with Kaep still out of work. Jay responded to the host of The Breakfast Club by bringing up Colin’s original goal in kneeling during the Anthem.

“To take it back, I think that we forget that Colin’s whole thing was to bring attention to social injustice, right?” asked Jay in return. “In that case, this is a success. This is the next thing.”

where he was asked whether he’d kneel or stand.

“I think we’ve moved past kneeling, and I think it’s time to go into actionable items.”

Jay Z continued : “No, I don’t want people to stop protesting at all. Kneeling — I know we’re stuck on it because it’s a real thing — but kneeling is a form of protest. I support protest across the board. We need to bring light to the issue. I think everyone knows what the issue is we’re done with that,” he said.
“We all know the issue now. OK, next. What are we moving [on to] next? … And I’m not minimizing that part of it, because that has to happen, that’s a necessary part of the process. But now that we all know what’s going on, what are we going to do? How are we going to stop it? Because the kneeling was not about a job, it was about injustice.”

Colin Kaepernick’s girlfriend Nessa blasted Jay Z for wrapping his deal in social justice when he’s working with an organization that denies someone an opportunity.

She also debunked claims that he spoke with Kaepernick concerning the deal. “You don’t have to report to anybody! – but don’t you dare call it a social justice reform attempt when it comes to working with that company. Don’t mess with my family!” She reportedly said on Hot 97 on Wednesday after catching wind of Jay’s deal.
