Funk Flex Accuses Roc Nation & NFL Of Pressuring Dupri To Backpedal

Jermaine Dupri was brought into the controversial partnership deal between Jay Z’s Roc Nation and the NFL. HOV has been receiving backlash over the deal for some days now.

Bryan Michael Cox alleged Jay Z advised Jermaine Dupri to turn down similar NFL deal sometimes back.

According to Michael Cox, Dupri was offered a similar opportunity and Jay Z was among those who advised the southern mainstay from taking the opportunity.

“I’m not saying that it can’t turn into some good shit,” Cox said of Hov’s partnership. “We’re also talking about a guy who single-handedly picked up the phone and called Jermaine to tell him not to do it […] When we all had that meeting with the NFL, all that shit was part of the same shit.”

Funk Flex doubled down on the claim after he said he discussed the issue with Jermaine Dupri in person.

Surprisingly, Jermaine Dupri denied the two claims saying he was never told by Jay Z to turn down such deal.

“He and I never had a conversation where he told me don’t do what you’re doing,”

Funk Flex caught up with the denial clip and to buttress his previous claims. Flex shared the video clip of Dupri’s visit to V-103 and accused the mega-producer of going back on his word.
