Akon & His Wife Tricia Ana Debuts On Love And Hip Hop – Fans React

News broke earlier that veteran singer Akon and one of his wives Tricia Ana will be joining the cast of Love And Hip Hop on the coming season.

It came as surprise that the 46 year old African-American singer will be joining the cast of the VH1 hit series Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.

Although, Akon denied the gossip that he’s joining the reality show by sharing an image on his Instagram page that reads:

“I am not joining Love & Hip Hop.” In the caption, he wrote, “Social Media is the Devil!!!”

The post has since been deleted. It hasn’t been revealed whether or not the 46-year-old artist will be a regular fixture, but he and Tricia Ana are set to make appearances.

Akon revealed that he practices polyamory, stating that it’s very common for men to have several wives in Africa, where he’s from. “I can afford to have as many wives as I can afford to have. All Africans believe in it. My dad has four wives,” he reportedly told Angie Martinez during an interview years ago. 

The nature of his relationship with Tricia Ana is still unclear but they are both on the new season of Love & Hip Hop.

Akon and his wife made their debut on the reality show and fans are already disliking Tricia for her voice.

Akon and Tricia were introduced after the rapper attended a record label meeting. When they got out, Tricia told the cameras that she is one of Akon’s wives but her voice left a bad impression on people. 

“Tricia Ana sounds slow and looks like a blow-up doll,” wrote one person on Twitter. “Tricia and her cringey ass voice gotta go,” added another.
