August Alsina Lands In Hospital Missing Essence Festival

August Alsina has made it known that he’s battling with liver disease and has reached out to fans for their prayers and support. He also talked about having Jada Pinkett as a good friend who’s been helping and supporting him while fighting his ailment.

“I have a liver disease where my autoimmune system is fighting against itself. Reality is I’m sick all the time. I’d really like to talk about it and I’m not looking for anybody’s sympathy. Don’t treat me like I’m a f*cking cancer patient, because I’m not”

Yesterday, he shared a clip from the hospital bed giving update about his hereditary disease on instagram.
