Georgia Abortion Ban Stops Atlanta Housewives From Filming
Atlanta Housewives On A Paused Due To Abortion Ban
The filming for Bravo’s Atlanta Housewives has been deferred inconclusively, because of a dubious new abortion law marked into impact by Georgia’s governor and it’s uncertain whether the new law may finish up delaying, or notwithstanding dropping the forthcoming season.

According to MTO news, an edict has come down from Bravo TV’s bosses at NBC Universal to halt filming in Atlanta indefinitely.
Here are some receipts, from an NBC Universal worker in Atlanta:
Producers are scrambling to find ways to film outside of the state – and are considering filming the entire season outside of Georgia. The show already taped a few scenes in Houston – during the finale of Kandi’s Welcome To The Dungeon show.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta was scheduled to begin taping its first local scene today, with Cynthia Bailey at her pop up shopping Atlanta. But that filming has been cancelled.

Bravo producer reportedly said “Production has halted. No one knows what’s going on. It’s a sh*t show.”
Georgia’s highly restrictive abortion law was signed by Gov. Brian Kemp on May 7, but is expected to be challenged in the courts.
