Remy Ma Faces Time Behind Bars

Remy Ma is confronting additional time behind bars after ‘Love and Hip Hop’ star Brittany Taylor accused the rapper for assaulting her back in April.

Notwithstanding guaranteeing that she was not at the scene at the time of the assault, prosecutors have documented charges against Remy, hitting her with four offenses for supposedly assaulting.

According to TMZ.. Remy is looking at two counts of assault in the third degree, one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, and one count of harassment in the second degree.

The news outlet is also reporting that Remy has been offered a deal to plead guilty to just the top charge — assault in the third degree — and the rest will be dropped. If she takes the deal, she will also have to enter a long term management plan – but avoid jail time.

Remy has not taken the deal. The trial date has been set for July. If she doesn’t take the deal, and if found guilty, there is a possibility she could receive some jail time.
