Lamar Odom has been revealing quite confidential experiences lately. He recently made it known that he was once in a relationship with Hollywood actress Taraji Henson and that it was the best he ever had.

39 year old Lamar Odom exposed in his soon to be published book ‘Darkness To Light’ his romantic relationship with Taraji.

Most of the public knows the former NBA star for his very public relationship with Khloe Kardashian. But in the book, Lamar reveals that he quietly dated actress Taraji P. Henson, 48.

Over ten years ago, Odom was allegedly romantically involved with Empire star Taraji P. Henson, quickly beginning to date after meeting one another and “falling in love.” As reported by DailyMail, the two had seriously thought about building their lives together.

Explaining how they met, he writes:

“We ended up exchanging numbers. She was just such a wise woman that she could see through whatever smooth act I was trying to put on. She refused to be just another conquest, and truthfully, I didn’t want her to be.”

He says that they got “hot and heavy” and claims he even met her son.

“We started secretly dating and quickly fell in love. She introduced me to her fourteen-year-old son, Marcel, and was at my house nearly every day. Sometimes she’d bring some of her Hollywood friends, like actress Sanaa Lathan who starred in Love And Basketball.”

Lamar tells fans that dating Taraji was, “one of the happiest times of my life.”

He adds:

“I don’t think I ever connected with another Black woman as deeply as I did Taraji.”
