Speaking of winning the Hot 100 song of the year for her Maroon 5 collaboration “Girls Like You,” Cardi B tells Billboard that it was a struggle getting to be in the video for the track because she was in the middle of making her record and she was trying to hide her pregnancy.

“That’s why I wore that big yellow blazer,” she reveals. “I was just like, how am I going to do these things? And we did all of that, and the song was so successful…I don’t care what people say about me, I don’t care if people like me or not. I have an ear for good music. I know what’s gonna be hot, I know what’s gonna be kind of mediocre, and I was like, yo, this song is gonna be so crazy. And then for me to see it go No. 1, I was like yes! Bingo!”
