Is Rapper Slim Thug Now Broke

Houston rapper Slim Thug is selling off his entire car collection – and it has Twitter folks speculating about the rapper’s finances.

Slim Thug has been quiet recently. His last hit song was in 2013, when he released a new EP titled Welcome to Texas EP featuring guest appearances from Rick Ross, Pimp C and Ludacris among others.

People on Twitter are speculating that the rapper is having financial trouble – and is selling off his assets to pay bills. As one Twitter user put it, “He better come out with more music, or he’ll be selling his house next.”.

The 39 year old rapper was born Stayve Jerome Thomas. He first burst on the scene and gained mainstream attention for his contribution to the popular single from rapper Mike Jones, “Still Tippin'”.

He’s sold more Ethan 15 million records throughout his career.

He has a bunch on new music out by the way. Slim Thug is releasing it independently.
