The news does not come as much of a surprise as there has been tension between them for quite some time.
After the Meek/Drake beef, there was some distance between the two as Nicki tried to stay out of the middle, but when Nicki and Meek split, they seemed to be all good again.

But Drake seems to have made a point in befriending Nicki’s foes, including TravisScott and Meek. And in her latest video, “Good Form,” the Young Money team was seen posted up at the end of the video sans Drake.
Nicki stans have accused Drake of being a snake, but we don’t know everything that’s going on behind the scenes. It’s highly likely that some other major incidents have happened that we don’t know about.
